Pacnet Hong Kong Data Center Receives LEED Gold Certification
Pacnet one of the leading providers of data center platform and integrated network services announced that its data center located in Tseung Kwan O Industrial Estate, Hong Kong has been awarded with LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Gold certificate. Pacnet operates across 24 offices in 13 countries. Pacnet is headquartered in both Hong Kong and Singapore.
Pacnet received this LEED Green Gold certification from USGBC (U.S. Green Building Council).
Pacnet facility in Hong Kong is a Tier 3 data center and one of the first data center facilities in Hong Kong to receive LEED Green Gold certification. Pacnet says every component of this facility is energy efficient.
Some of the features of Pacnet’s facility in Tseung Kwan are: minimized water usage for landscape maintenance, solar powered lighting, highly efficient computer room air conditioning unit, water cooled chilled water system and intelligent lighting control system. This facility will provide high speed connectivity and subsea cabling network to Pacnet customers across
the region.
