NETELLIGENT OPENS DATA CENTER IN SINGAPORE

Netelligent Corp. announced recently that it opened its third data center in Singapore. This Chesterfield Company has to its credit two data centers, one at St. Louis and the other in Denver.

Netelligent said that the opening of a data center in Singapore marks the company’s response to the growing demands of the market. There has been an increase in the global demand for cloud services mostly outside United States.

Singapore data center is located in the Jurong East area. It boasts of about 700,000 liters of underground fuel storage, and 48 hours of uninterrupted emergency operation. The center is capable of delivering up to 30 mega watts of power to the whole building, and 5 mega watt power to each floor through a concurrent 2N system design.

In St. Louis, Netelligent signed a long term lease, for which terms were undisclosed, for data center space at 210 N. Tucker with Digital Realty Trust. The San Francisco based trust is investing a whopping $30 million for the renovation of the North Tucker building. It plans to invest another $20 million in the next year.

Netelligent is run by the founder and CEO Aaron Stone. Its headquarters is in Chesterfield.

The company provides networking, telephone, collaboration/video, data center/servers/storage, and virtualization and wireless solutions. It also provides cloud computing, email hosting, voice hosting, and application management.
