Sullenberger to Deliver Keynote Speech at the Gartner Data Center Conference

Pilot of the “Miracle on the Hudson” airline incident, Captain Chesley B. Sullenberger, popularly known as ‘Sully’ will be delivering a keynote speech at the Gartner Data Center Conference. Sullenberger, a contributor to the CBS News is said to have prepared a speech titled “Preparing for Excellence-Leading Your Team to Success”. The Gartner Data Center Conference is said to be held from the 3rd of December to the 6th at the Venetian Hotel and Casino, Las Vegas.

Sullenberger will highlight on the importance of preparation, training, and leadership when one is confronted with a challenge or an obstacle. Sullenberger has served the U.S. Air Force as a fighter pilot, and currently works as a commercial pilot and trainer. He believes in the values of education and preparedness, and illustrates that true leaders lead by examples.

Other keynote speakers will include humorist Dave Barry as well as

Gartner researchers, such as Dave Cappuccio, Managing VP and Chief of Research; Raymond Paquet, Managing VP; and Cameron Haight, Research VP.

The Gartner Conference is the longest running event of the data center community, going strong for more than 30 years now and is mainly focused on the IT and facilities team.
