IO ANNOUNCES DATA CENTER SERVICE PARTNERSHIP WITH BUTLER, SHINE, STERN & PARTNERS (BSSP)
IO, the leading provider of next-generation modular data center technology and services, announced that the company has been entrusted a contract by Butler, Shine, Stern & Partners (BSSP), a provider of full-service marketing communications services.
IO has agreed to provide BSSP with Data Center as a Service straight out of its IO Phoenix Data Center. This approach is going to benefit BSSP economically, as it would not have to invest resources and funds to build its own data center.
“Collaboration is one of our founding tenets and to achieve that, we need an always-on data center infrastructure like IO Phoenix,” said Mark Ruder, Director of Information Technology, Butler, Shine, Stern & Partners. “IO provides data center redundancy, blended networking bandwidth and a location with limited risk from natural disasters, which makes it a highly reliable disaster recovery site for us.”
IO Phoenix is the largest commercially available data center in the United States to achieve Tier III Design Certification from the Uptime Institute. Organizations can use IO DaaS to support cloud computing, big data, high-availability applications, business continuity/disaster recovery, data center consolidation and other strategic technology initiatives.
About IO: IO designs, engineers and delivers data center infrastructure for the world's largest enterprises, governments and service providers.
