RagingWire Data Centers, the nation’s premier data center provider, hosted a grand opening reception today at its 150,000 square foot data center in Ashburn, Virginia. Governor Bob McDonnell attended the event and cut the ribbon welcoming RagingWire to Virginia and recognizing the company’s significant achievements in designing, building, and operating world-class data centers.

Loudoun County, which was instrumental in RagingWire’s decision to build the new data center in Ashburn, provided significant support to the event. From the Loudoun County Board of Supervisors attendees were: Vice Chairman Janet Clarke (Blue Ridge Supervisor), Supervisor Suzanne Volpe (Algonkian District), Supervisor Ralph Buona (Ashburn District), Supervisor Shawn Williams (Broad Run District), Supervisor Geary Higgins (Catoctin District), Supervisor Matthew Letourneau (Dulles District), and Supervisor Kenneth Reid (Leesburg District).
