The Data Center Journal has redesigned their website (datacenterjournal.com) -- for the better, I think. Improvements include a simpler, more open design, more graphics and better organized front page content.
Along with these changes they have eliminated the user forums. Frankly, the forums had suffered from neglect during the past several months, so this is a good thing. Still, it's sad to lose an open venue to discuss data center issues.
According to Donna DiMicele, who answered my inquiry about their plans to curb the obvious rampant spam, they may bring back the forums if they can figure out a good way to address the problem. I hope they can, along with a strategy to keep it vandal-free.
