I have recently been promoted to Supervisor of Computer Operations of a moderately sized Healthcare concern. The gentleman that hired me is now a great developer, and is automating many previously manual processes.
My staff is now monitoring a growing number of FTP log files of varying detail on multiple servers, every hour.
While I and my staff are happy about the automation, the entry level staff I hire may be getting overwhelmed with the "analisys" involved in these varied log files.
Can any one suggest a better way to cost-effectively and reliably manage FTP's in a hospital setting. These FTP's are our revenue!
