Default Perform Case Studies

It is important to perform some case studies even if on a small scale at your data centers. This is a way for you to track what is going well for the data center. It can help you to learn what areas need improvement to make your data center more efficient and more cost effective.

I think they are referring to various aspects of seeing what is working well and what is not working well. You can create spreadsheets or use software to track efficiency, downtime and other critical factors. In some cases you might also want to implement some customer satisfaction surveys.
