What aspects of the cabling are you trying to test? Cat5 testing is much more indepth than what is needed for a standard POTS line.

This device is not cheap. You are looking at roughly $1300 - $1500 and up.
Wow, $600 for the Byte Brothers unit that claims to certify to cat5e versus cat6. The website looks very non-tech, maybe even a bit snake-oil. But I have to admit that I've never had a customer ask whether I used a Fluke to verify far-end crosstalk etc.
