Default DC forecast and colo price implications.

Hi,

I am a co-location customer and I have a question about future price evolution in co-location services and DC new installations and evolution.

I would like to know something that perhaps is not easy to talk about.
It is very complex.
It is the matter of DC building and DC new deployment forecasts and the implication on colo prices.

It seems to me that the price for DC Co-location is always rising.
It must have to do with many factors.
The problem is that also the server density is always rising and therefore for the same space one can have a lot more hosting, therefore, much more energy and bandwidth hungry Servers.

Is there a link/article web site dedicated to this type of research?
What is the impact of possible new DC's and are they being build to handle an environment with a much greater server density?

What are the possible price implications on co-location for this new server developments.

(I know this is not an easy subject)

Regards,
Pedro
