Are there any Cisco switches considered "managed" and "Layer 3"?
We need to support multiple IPs coming in via our DSL and handle
linking different subnets.
The 3550 is an excellent switch for many purposes; but it may be substantially more than you need in your DSL environment. You might consider a less expensive, off-brand switch such as Netgear, Linksys, etc. 3550s are ~$4000 USD new.
I recommend 3550s a lot, but my use for them is typically layer 3 customer aggregation in datacenter / hosting environments, where paying $100/port makes sense for the features they provide. That may be a big cost for connecting workstations and small office servers.
