We're trying to setup a new datacentre.
And since we're a startup, we have only one uplink, so we decided to not use BGP/router/edge, etc.
Right now, we're looking to start ourselves with Netgear FSM726 (3)
We'd like to setup IP segregation that VLANs talk about.
But on a NG-FSM726, how do we do that?
Also, question, when a customer comes in with 6 servers occupying 6u's, and we give him 10 IPs, how do we make him use only those IPs and nothing else using the FSM726?
Then, how can we also give him a login only for his reboot plug?
We use WTI NBB1600s.
We have our own login for all the plugs, but we would like to give out individual logins to customers for their respective plugs.
Really need some help, please.
Thanks!
PS: Please don't say NG is ########, this or that. We're well aware of that TBH, but hey, we don't have a lot of money to invest in state of the art equipment just yet.

TIA.
You will create VLAN's on the switch. called whatever you want. Then allocate the gateway IP to the VLAn for that customer. make sure IP forwarding is on and you're good to go.
