Default Data Center - design

Hi,

I`m studing computer science and I have to write about Data Center. I almost have everythin but I need to make a design of place. I have never see and I don`t know how should it look like.

I would be appreciate if someone help me with that. If someone have that kind of design in Microsft Visio I would by i 7 heaven.

Thanks for contacting the forum, but I don't know if anyone will volunteer to do your homework for you. Beyond that, there is an excellent book, Build the Best Data Center Facility for Your Business, by Doug Alger.

No no, I don`t want to someone do it for me. I just want to see how profecional design look like.

that is incredibly simplistic and not professional at all. it may be enough for you school project as I realize that as a student you have limited tools - but I answered your question for you.


you need to label things and account for cooling / power / network etc. in addtion to the physcial shape of the building that you have drawn.
