Default OC-192 connections datacenters

How many datacenters have OC-192 backbone connections. I heard this is very expensive and most of the datacenters doesn't have OC-192 connections. Is OC-192 is reliable?.

Thats true Magg,

Many of the companies can't afford to pay for such a line. I beleive some of the companies lie on this.

Almost certainly...
An OC-48 is pretty fast, and 192? Whats the point - to be worth it would need to the only connection! Like putting all your eggs in one basket and would put me off a host on the basis they probably don't have sufficient backup connections.

I don't think there is too many datacenters with OC-48 and even less with OC-192. Pricing for those lines is incredible high:
OC-48 -> 2.5 Gbps
OC-192 -> 10 Gbps

Frankly if I owned a datacenter the fastest line I would have is one @ 1gb p/s - probably have a series of 100Mbits.
