New Name for Colocation in Austin

Collocation Solutions, a leading provider of managed network services and customized data center infrastructure, officially changed of the company name to Dataside and now has a new website at www.dataside.com.

Dataside acquired COMDEPOT, a communications company offering network technology services via its ‘Virtual Core’ architecture. This acquisition has enabled the company to become a single source for businesses to meet all their needs for collocation, connectivity, WAN management, and network security. Dataside has four other data centers in addition to Austin: Dallas and Plano, TX and Las Vegas, NV.

The premium services now available via the ‘Virtual Core’ include: managed broadband Internet access, network security - including IDP, firewall, IPSec, as well as WAN connectivity and management for private line, frame relay, MPLS (IPVPN), and IPSec VPN. This provides customers with a specific customized answer to their business needs in one single, managed, reliable, and scaleable solution.
