Equinix Question

I have few questions about Equinix services. Do they provide carriers or they have own datacenters and provide reseller fasilities for other datacenters.
What I want to know is why are they popular?. What are they products they deliver?.

Equinix leases some space in buildings and some of them they also own. Equinix is popular because of the security of the data center is awesome and the data centers are very nice.

They are also a major point of presence for alot of carriers. Our Chicago location is based out of Equinix in Chicago and we also have other locations that we are working on that is in Equinix.

Equinix is also a very expensive data center to deal with and it's always a great thing if you can pickup some good deals there.

How do we get good deal. Do we have to know anyone there or do they have any standard price?. They have very good recommendation and popularity.

Yes, we are located in Equinix. We have been with them for around 3 Months.
