Default Regular Intel CPU vs Dual Xeon CPU

If want to host about 500 -600 domains on server. Can we use regula CPU or do we need Xeon Cpu. This is not for game servers, it is just for regual domains.

It really depends on the content and anticipated traffic on the sites. If you perfer a P4 single processor, I'd say something with HT enabled would be better for your buck. Having sufficient ram also plays into consideration as well.
