Default Will DataCenter Costs will rise?

Now with the price of gasoline touching all time high, what would be its impact on the Input costs of Datacenters, at around $140/ Barrel gas ain't coming cheap. How it would affect DataCenter Costs?

it won't affect DC day-to-day operations much...but the construction of a DC will increase and supply purchases will be increased since shipping costs will gradually increase over time. Vendors won't eat that cost, they'll pass it along.

Rightly said, I did a little research and thats what it seems to me that initial costing would be much higher as prices of goods are going steeper.

Obviously whenever the gas prices skyrocket you are going to see a change in services / goods price due to the inflated cost of shipping.

Default Prices up...

Oh yes, they go up. Chillers are up 4% from last year. Cooling towers, generators... everything went up an average of 4%
