I can imagine aclose to destroyed building with a small rack of seven servers somehow getting power!

I will try and find the news article... but basically it didnt hit the DC directly on... so there was a bit standing and the backup power was working fine. However after the 8 hours that the generator could handle the servers went down... bit ironic isnt it

It is quite ironic the server's went down after 8 hours, oh well a least those few customers had the opportunity to get some stuff of them, unless every conection went belly up.
