Default How to choose Half Rack

How do we choose Half Rack, Is it better to choose top half or bottom half?. Is there any advantages or disadvantages of choosing either of them?. I beleive better to choose top half, Is there any comments.

Generally speaking, heat goes up, so close to the ceiling it will be warmer than on the ground.

But, from experience I know that airflow is a complicated thing. Even with warm and cold lanes for horizontal cooling, there may be places in the room where it is warmer than elsewhere. E.g. airflow sometimes stops near to a corner or on places another stream meets. Open cabinets can also interrupt the airflow in a room.

If the difference is large enough, you can feel it yourself by taking different positions in the room. If it is not, I would just choose what is easy, and for me that is the upper, since I don't have to get on my knees :P

I would go for as low as possible; this is the best spot for preventing heat.
