I'd like to hear from people who are getting their feet wet (or have chosen to become more immersed) in cloud services. What prompted you to dive in at first? How is it going so far?
How are you addressing the obvious security, workload location and liability issues? Are you outsourcing your secondary and redundant processing -- DR as a service -- or are you entrusting your primary computing to an outside entity? How are the expenses tracking your expectations? Has availability met your needs? Are there unexpected snags or benefits that have come as a surprise?
I'm sure many people are curious or on the fence about this potential alternative to in-house data centers. Any feedback from those who have taken the plunge -- satisfied or not -- will be much appreciated.
