I'm looking for a 30A 208v 0U PDU, with at-least 32 C13 receptacles. 36 would be better. APC has a PDU with 21 C13s and a few C19s. I suppose I could take a 1U PDU and feed from a C19 on the 0U PDU, to get another dozen receptacles.
I see a 3-phase APC strip with 36 receptacles. That would use 50% more poles in the circuit breaker box, but the wiring to the cabinets might be a little cheaper.
Anybody know of an inexpensive basic 0U PDU with bazillion C13 receptacles? Or opinions on 20A 3ph 208v, versus 30A 208v single-phase?
We've had good success with products from Server Technology and BayTech. We're starting to run 3-phase to the racks, mostly for easier phase balancing, but also for many of the reasons listed in this APC White Paper .
