Default Server Error Logs

I have installed a mysql database and the program accessing it is have some serious issues (i.e. it stopped working today)
Is it possible to view the server error logs for a database so that I can try to find out what the problem could be?

You can view the SQL Server error log by using SQL Server Management Studio. By default, the error log is located at Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL.n\MSSQL\LOG\ERRORLOG and ERRORLOG.n files.
