I work at YRCW Technologies, sub-company to YRCW Enterprise. We are a pretty major freight company based out of Kansas City. We have two data centers; one in Kansas City (26k sq ft...full), one in Akron, OH (20k sq ft...half full).
I've been working here for the past year and a half and pretty much do all hardware work within the KC data center. Being straight out of college, I have learned quite a bit in a short amount of time. It is fun though, I like working with my hands and being the front man for incoming equipment. I get to know everyone on all support groups.
I hope these forums give me more ideas about trends with data center equipment and techniques...I'm sure it will.
