Where this job is located
We are currently looking for a Senior Exchange Admin to fill a position at one of our major clients in the Dufferin / King Street area of Toronto. This is a position that will expose you to an advanced networking environment including a high-availability redundant hosting facility, a Windows 2003 LAN/WAN environment, an Exchange hosting environment, a 75 seat Call Centre supporting a major automotive manufacturer and a full development group that is currently developing applications using latest Microsoft technologies.
All of the above will keep you busy at least 40 hours per week and maybe cause you to wake up in the middle of the night in a cold sweat.
Who we want
We are a customer-oriented group and as such we want someone who is extremely friendly with a good sense of humour and the ability to take and receive wisecracks, jabs and other non-constructive remarks. We are looking for a Microsoft Certified Professional holding MCSE certification in Windows Server 2003 and Exchange 2003/2007 who is extremely comfortable in Active Directory and Exchange environments (preferably in a managed services environment) and has at least 7 years of experience supporting Microsoft Exchange server. You have a proven track record in customer service and can work independently, as well as in a team environment. Experience in the following is essential: Windows 2003 Server, Microsoft Exchange Server (2003 / 2007), Microsoft Server 2003 Small Business Edition, Visio, IIS, DNS, DHCP, intrusion detection, VPN. Preference will be given to those with Project Server and SharePoint Server. Your job will include second and third level support of the client base, managing and maintaining several Microsoft based environments and helping with new business requirements.
