Default Suggestions for 15 Servers

I want some suggestion to colocate 15 servers. What are the information I need to know in order to complete my task.

1. Do I need full rack?.
2. How much AMP needed?
3. How much AMP maximum needed?
4. Who provides routers and switches?

Is anything I need to know?, please let me know.

1. Depends on many factors. Are the servers 1 or 2U or larger? Do they have rack mountable rails.

2. and 3. What's the draw on the equipment?

4. You can provide, or the DC can provide. The latter, of course, would be more expensive.

Depends on the server too, if you are using Xeon, it takes around 2 AMP. When you are rebooting server, it may take more. You need to have extra AMP, otherwise you may bring whole racks down.

Yes, most of the servers will be 1U servers and planning to put 2 Xeon server for gaming. How much amp xeon servers take?. Do we need power for any other equipment other than servers.

Some datacenters will let you lease a partial rack such as 1//4, 1/3 or 1/2 rack.

Figure 1 amp per processor is a general rule.

For small accounts such as you are discussing the datacenter will do the routing. You would probably have to provide the switch.

You should be fine with a half rack ad you'll need at least 20A of power, to leave some overhead, etc. Generally I would say you'd need to provide a switch, the data center should do the routing.
