Default What are your must have tools

What are your most have tools for your data center? I am not just thinking about hosting tools but also things like your IPhone or SmartPhone or any other tools that you use to help your data center run smoothly.

Cool

A ticketing tool which monitors each and every servers and which drops you a new mail/ticket if the server is not responding with any service.

The main thing that has to be considered is laptop/iphone by which we can trace the tickets regarding the service.

Helps to keep our customers safe!!!

A laptop, an iPhone (or at least some sort of smartphone), a good antivirus, some snacks-- just the basics, right? Personally, I like a peanut butter sandwich and some coffee.

Of course, the laptop will help from anywhere - as long as you have internet service. I have a mifi unit so that I can connect from wherever I am - as long as there is cell signal.

I have a laptop, a toughbook. It's rugged, and no matter what I do to it, it refuses to break. I backup files on it, and i've dropped it from those little server stands a few times, and nothing ever breaks on it. I also now have an iPad and an iPhone almost at all times. You could say i'm very connected. LOL

I always have my blackberry on me, and a small tool kit if needed. That's it. Other than that, knowledge is power.. and the cell phone can call my staff if i'm in a jam. LOL

My most used tools
Dolphin Browser
PressReader (there's an updated one in the Market, email them for the Econo subscription...works out cheaper than the subscription to my local daily paper)
