Default Wind Power or Solar Power?

Does anyone happen to know if wind power or solar power is more efficient? Which one would be more cost effective? I have seen that some data centers use solar power and have even read a few that use some type of wind power.

I think it might be a little easier to access solar power. This type of power is becoming increasingly more popular and can be very cost effective to use. You will have some initial costs but the savings will be well worth the investment.

Sometimes the two types of power are actually used together. The wind power can be useful in windy cities where there are times when there is not so much sunlight. It would be interesting to know which is more cost effective.
