Default staggering backup times

Would you say that it is a good or bad thing to stagger backup times. I know that I have had customers tell me that their business backups are done at different times.

I'm not familiar with staggering backup. Does it mean we can keep different backup time for each system?

I think staggering backup tmes is more important with virtual machines and the performance of the network is largely affected when you backup many virtual machines.

You should program it as such it wouldn't encumber your network too much. So don't overwork the virtual machines, and try to plan ahead.
