Default Energy Management

Can anyone suggest me the standards for energy management in data center? Our new data center needs an effective energy management system in every situation possible.

The ISO 50001 focuses on the energy management. If you want to reduce cost from your data center the using the energy in an efficient way is very important. The ISO 500001 gives you the support to work your powers in a very suitable and efficient way.
There are some framework of conditions for the organizations to make a rule for efficient energy usage. You have to fix some targets and objectives so that it can match the policy. Measuring the result of energy usage is important because it allows you to review your policies. Also, in this way you can improve your energy management.

New equipment, tools and business strategies will rein in run-away IT energy costs, the biggest operating expense in the data center.

Data center energy management requires a multi-pronged approach: power-sipping hardware, tools that generate a clear depiction of energy use and expose areas where changes will pay off, and business strategies that bring in the right energy control products with the best return on investment (ROI).

A solid data center energy management strategy will save you in power costs. Keep your budget from overheating by pairing it with the right new equipment.

Usage of virtualization technique is also one of the standards for energy management in data center.
