Default how do we define LUN numbers?

Guys,

What is the maximum LUN number supported by the emc framework? Also, can we choose the number randomly? Is there any gude for it?

It 256 LUNS I beleive (well it was with the EMX CX600) - best thing you can do is to contact your EMC provder and confirm with them

Yes, you can create the LUN number you require
