Default energy containment systems

Has anyone worked for or run a data center that uses specialized energy containment systems. These systems are designed to make sure that energy is not wasted. Some of the tools include systems that help to contain hot or cool air in particular areas.

Yes, there are some companies that specialize in customizing solutions to help reduce energy loss and to help make sure that heating and cooling systems in the data center are more efficient.

There are systems that circulate air to and away from certain areas (depending on whether that section needs hot or cold air). This is used to help reduce the use of A/C and heating systems. Cases can be built to house hosting equipment that holds in the heat when needed. These are just a couple examples.
