Default Server x3550 firmware issue

We are running the x3550 server but because it was really slow, we considered a firmware update to smooth things a bit. While upgrading it to 17003, an error message had be shown saying the firmware controller is corrupted. Any solutions?

You may experience some power issue during firmware upgrade from BIOS. If you are using ServerRAID then remember that it is raid enable. You have an actual raid card on the motherboard as well. Basically you are flashing one of the part of motherboard. you can always try the zero mode flash. Try a few more times, it may not be successful in the first time. If it fails then you can change your motherboard.
