Our client provides data centre support to leading Financial industry clients across North America. Their data centre operations centre requires a Network operations spe############t to join their team. This is a shift work environment with a rotating shift. Saturday shifts are mandatory. The client is located south of the Airport near Highway 427 and Bloor.
Technical skills required:
- At least 3 years of experience in a network operations role
- Proven experience maintaining corporate networks / data centre including daily backups;
- Experience with high availability configuration with automatic failover to standby servers
- CISCO router & Firewall;
- MS Server 2003 & 2008 servers;
Nice to Have skills:
- Experience with Oracle Database systems and SQL Reporting Services & OLAP
- Previous experience with Oracle 10G
- Dataguard experience
Shift work environment – Saturdays are mandatory:
Monday to Friday; Shift 1; 7am to 3pm. Shift 2; 3pm to 11:30pm.
Saturday shift from 8am to 7:30pm (11.5 hrs).
