Keith,
I have been looking at power strips for some brand new HP blade systems. Each chassis has 6 power ports. I think I'll be purchasing two of these to power two chassis, redundantly on 60amp 3-phase delta power. I've been quoted 1600 bucks, but to power that many 2u servers, I'd need two racks and 4 power strips. Server Tech strips are about 800 a pop...I'm breaking even and getting quality strips. I've found that Wright Line has a solution for a little over 1000 bucks, but if worse comes to worse, I think I'd rather keep my 32 servers running on Pullizi.

Rick,
I'll back you up thinking getting dual input power strips are the way to go. While looking at power strips for the blades, I liked their dual input, horizontal units...but realized that if something happened to one input, it would be very hard to remove the unit while keeping the blades running...best to keep them apart.

Rick,
Thats what I had to do the other night. However I did not have one of those cords handy. Nothing like making custom cables at 8pm on a friday night! Was hoping there was a strip that did this natively. The ports on the APC strips claim to be rated differently for different loads... The C19 ports obviously rated highest out of the bunch.

Cernst,
Thanks for the link for the pullizi. I cannot believe how over priced these things are. It seems like nothing more than a power strip with a breaker on each outlet. And I thought Power Towers were overpriced...!

I actually stock a good amount of C14/C19 cables now as it seems some of our newer servers are coming equipped with C19's and my current PDU's are C14 only.
