Default How to do this with a VoIP System

We are working on a data center disaster recovery plan for a client. One of the things we have discussed is for the client to have several of the client's employees actually come in and work at the data center for a number of days.

Our thinking is to put in a VoIP system that we can easily add or drop phone numbers as are needed. We want to be able to have anywhere from 4 to 24 independent numbers that can act as single or rollover numbers.

The bandwidth is of no issue, nor static IPs

So I guess my question is if I start with one or two numbers how hard and how long would it take to add extra phone numbers?

If you are not using phone numbers what do they cost per month?

What systems would work best?

Thanks.

Hi,

what you need is a PC + Linux + Asterisk IP PBX on it. And an ISDN card. Or even without the ISDN card, a lot of US providers sell "DIDs". They will route it to your Asterisk PBX. It is a funny easy task.
