Default Facebook Data Center

Does anyone have information on the FaceBook data center? Specs or other information? I am just curious as I imagine their setup must be something considering how many people use FaceBook.

Try this: http://www.google.com/search?q=facebook+data+center. The interesting thing about Facebook's recent efforts is that they have open-sourced their design.

They have more than one data center, of course. I think they are all pretty state-of-the-art and their most recent addition is a more energy efficient data center. I believe that is located in Oregon.

I believe they have 3 different data centers. They try to make them highly secure, of course. I believe that their most recent data center is the most energy efficient.

Cloud technologies power some of Internet’s most well-known sites—Picasa, Gmail, Facebook, and Zynga, just to name a few—and cloud companies are striving to make the computer processing behind these sites as energy efficient as possible.
