Default Enterprise server hardwares?

What is the diffrence between normal hardware and enterprise hardware, it seems to be only Dell, IBM, HP are enterprise hardwares. What made them as enterprise hardwares. Is it worth to buy enterprise hardwares.

90% of that is just marketing hype.

The only thing that would really make a difference is if most of the server could be hot-swapped out or had a built in failover setup for things like power supply, NICs etc.
