Default Zip drives for backup

I think its a great media for backup which supports plug and play. The most attracting feature is their data transfer speed. I am curious to know how many of you use this compact and most affordable media of data backup.

When you've got terrabytes of data to backup, I don't think zip drives will be so attractive anymore. You want it to happen fast and smoothly.

Man, I haven't heard about people using Zip drives for at least 10 years, and only then being used for personal computers not in a data centre environment!
