Exclamation Designing small datacenter for cloud computing

Hi everybody.I am pretty new to this forum and this is my first post.

My company is planning to have a small data center for cloud computing.we want to set up as trial and will give the access to some beta customers.we will be using the VMware. After 4 months we will be setting up a big data center according to our customer's demand.so initially we are not planning to invest such money.
we will host 25 VM machines first.we will host virtual desktops and all..

So friends which server,storage(2 TB) are recommended first ?? Even there should be a provision for up gradation . plz guide me in this regard.

Thank you.

Backblaze made an amazing storage unit - 67 TB for $7,867 - in 4U. If you google backblaze storage pod their blog page will come up. They have downloadable plans and part info so you can build these yourself. Way more cost effective than anything on the market if you're planning to go big.

r4dioactiveman Suggestion will work and also if you are using cloud computing so first u must concentrate on security:
  • VMware Cloud Director
  • Network Accessory for Cloud Computing: Voltaire's High Density Switch for Cloud Computing
  • Dynamic Virtual Desktop Platform
  • Trend Micro's Deep Security 7.5
  • HP's Cloudstart Storage Solution

Data storage can go with cheap WD green cavaiar, BurstNET use that, its reliable and good for optimal performance than buying raptor.
