Default dc for disaster recovery

The main aim of a dc is smooth running of the applications which is responsible for handling the core business of the organization. But now several large hardware vendors like Sun Microsystems and IBM have developed mobile solutions that can be installed and made operational in very short time.

Sun used to be very well known, so they had a good marketing and pr department at one time. I wonder what happened to them.

I'd still put Sun up their with the big boys - but I would certianly look at them more for the higher end equipment than the mid to low range offerings!

Yes, clearly, Sun is still a great company. However, they've fallen out of the public eye, becoming something that only true professionals know and love. That's what I meant.
