Hi Berta,

Free hosting is surely good since you don't have to pay for it but it is a no frills hosting.
So you don't get any other benefits from it. And it has various other issues such as adverts and security issues.

Whereas in a paid hosting option you get a more secure hosting platform for your sites and it does not have any unwanted ads as well.

And your site has better load times and low failures.
These are some of the benefits and switching to a paid option is definitely worth it.

Hi Jazz,
Thank you for your detailed information and your advises. I'll just start with free cloud.

At the OP, why are you asking about that?
Do you need hosting?

If you wish to learn or test some application, then free hosting is a good option for you. If you directly wish to deploy a ready and tested application, then its always recommended to opt for a paid service.

Personally I prefer to use free hosting only for testing websites... Paid hosts are much better because if you require a professional tech support, they are always there to help.

Depends what you use free hosting for. I you don't mind the ads and it works to you save the money. You can get paid hosting with the advantage of guaranteed up time and a ton of tools and plug ins to help you.

The word free whenever used with a product or service offer makes most of the customers have a second look. There is nothing which is free either the clients or others will pay for it in some or other way. If one starts with free hosting there are limited features under free hosting. But in paid hosting there are many features thus it totally depends on what one desires the best or just the rest.
