Default 100BaseFX

I just wondering what are the normal speed of 100BaseFX and how far can you usually get the dat without corruption.

well the benefit of FX (Fiber) is that the distance constraints normally in place in normal copper-based scenarios are elimited. I'm not sure of the exact distance but it is vastly improved over the 100 meters of Catagory 5.

As for speed, you should be able to get standard rates up to ~99Mbps assuming the link is clean.

I think the distance is about a kilometer but I am not sure about that one.
