Default Your PC Spec

Ok guys, whats the spec for your home computers? Lets see how our specs compare.

Mine:
800 Mhz AMD athlon
128 Meg RAM
20 gig Hard Disk
16x10x40x CD-Rewriter
10/100 Mps NIC
Onboard graphics/sound

Anyway I am sure a lot of you will have much better spec's...

Athlon XP 2600
512mh ram
30gb drive
32x12x40 cd-ewriter
creative sb audigy sound card
nvidia geforce fx5500
dlink pci wifi card

But thats the family PC so time on it is rare

Usually i use my work ibm T40 laptop or my scabby old HP9000 K210 server if i'm hiding in the garage for a bit of peace and quiet.

Well the PC that is used by my family has these specs, however it isn't my Pc though...

2.4ghz
256mb RAM (if I am right)
40gb HD
10/100 Onboard NIC
32mb onboard graphics
11mps USB WiFi adapter
Onboard sound - via I think
CD-RW 32x10x40

and I think thats about it.

onboard sound
52X/32X/52X/16X combo drive

HP laptop with 512 mb ram, 64 mb onboard graphics

Hmm thats spec's not bad - would suit my purpose's, all I really want ot be able to with the computer is run linux, and compile the apps fast (which seems to be a non-existant ability on linux)

I wonder what kind of home pc dual xeons would make with a load of memory.

5.1 Sound card + Speakers

Mandrake & Windows xp on partions

I have 1 master server of the following:
21" tft monitor Samsung
P4 3.4GHZ
2 x 1024 Ram (2gb ram)
2 x 250gb Hard drive
Geforce 5800 somthing
5.1 Sound card + Speakers
512k Internet
Optical mouse + Neon keyboards
SUSE operating system

I have 3 of the following:

15" tft monitor Samsung
AMD athlon 2600+
1 x 1024 Ram (2gb ram)
1 x 160gb Hard drive
Onboard graphics
3.1 Sound card + Speakers
512k Internet
Optical mouse + Neon keyboards
Windows Xp
