Default Are 100 Mbit Port and 10 Mbps Port same?

This may be stupid question. Are 100 Mbit and 10 mbps ports same?. I was bit confused to measure BW. Please someone verify or can you post how to calculate BW.

you can push 10Mbps on a 10Mbps port, 100Mbps on a 100Mbps port.

Not that difficult..

If you are new to this kind of stuff you may wish 10 Mbps is equilavilent to 1.25 MegaBYTES per second, thought I might mention because I when I was new to this kind of stuff thought I could get a 10 Megabyte file down my network in one second!
