Default How can I visit one?

I live in the greater DC area and I was wondering if I could visit any of the Data Centers in this area? Can anyone here help me? Thanks a lot!

I believe SAVVIS and equnix provide services in DC are. I would highly recommend both data centers.

Equinix will - just set yourself up as a prospective customer and request a tour of the facility.

Qwest, Level 3, and Switch and Data all have centers in NoVa, as well. You have many options in NoVa, list gets a little smaller in the beltway. There are a handful in Balto.

You can try equnix. It is very easy to tour data centers and you just have to give an impression of being an interested customer. Further most of the data centers would welcome potential clients to visit their centers.

maybe the use of electronic storage devices within the DC are not allowed, mobile phones, iPods, etc. your identity will be verified and maybe a slight frisk

do data centers allow a tour if the tour is purely for reporting intent? will I need documentation of any sort before being allowed into the data center? who should i contact in a data center for a tour?
