Default Cooling equipments

I have some questions regarding in-row cooling equipment installation. Is it possible to cool down couple of adjacent racks with one in-row equipment? Outdoor unit is necessary for each indoor units?

hello there,
The answer of your first question: the cooling down actually depends on the heat rate of the adjacent racks you are using, also the measurement of the in row cooling system that you have. But generally it is possible to cool couple of the racks easily.
Now the answer of second question: This one also depends on some facts. If you are using chilled water for the system them you do not need the outdoor unit to for one indoor unit. Make sure you are following the proper level of redundancy that you need.
