Default Connecting one DC to another

A customer of mine requests to layup cables to connect his devices from another DC to my managed DC. This is to leverage a function available from his assets in my DC. His DC is located on another floor but on the same building.
Business consideration aside, what are the security risks that are inherent to such initiative?

Is your building equipped to pass dedicated cabling between floors? Apart from some structural modifications, it sounds fine, but how many floors will you be passing cables through? If there is a large gap, there are chances of infractions on the way.
