Default Foundry Switch console issue

Hello,

I am trying to console into a foundry switch and find that I cannot do so no matter what I try.

I am using the right connector (DB-9) and have a terminal emulation program however when I try to login it fails. I read the documentation on the foundry website but it is very vague.

Can someone who has experience with this please give me some advice.

Thank you

Hi,

I don't have experience with this switch personally. I would try to get someone to help you out.

Thank You

The settings are what foundry tells to set them to in the documentation.

Yes, I believe it is a straight through cable. I use it for my other serial connection on my apc reboot console.

right process of elimination, try the current cable on anouther foundry if you have one and also try another serial cable on the foundy you are trying to access.
