Default server performance

with th constantly varying load on th server depending on the requirement, how can we convert cpu hours into instructions per second? is it a suitable indicator of server performance or are there better standards to measure the server performance?

Personally I would use a few software tools to do the work. You can find a tool that can help you by searching on Google. There are many different tools you can use to measure the performance of your server.

If you want to get real technical about this you can invest in a logic state analyzer. Otherwise, you can find a few software tools to help you out. I personally would go with the software tools if it was me.
